University of Richmond Wedding

Katie and David got married on October 9, 2011. They had a lovely ceremony at Cannon Memorial Chapel at the University of Richmond, followed by a reception at the Willow Oaks Country Club. Be sure to read some of the DIY details posted at the bottom of this post. Katie had some really clever ideas! Isn't she stunning?!

DIY Details:

-Katie made letters for doors of the chapel out of styrofoam, and shaped them in to a D for David, and K for Katie. She hot glued ribbon around the edges and placed artificial flowers on the sides.

-One of my favorite tips: Katie monogramed the vases at the reception to use as centerpieces, and saved money by using the bridemaid's bouquets for the centerpiece flowers.

-The programs were made from Katie's computer printed onto half sheets of thick champagne colors paper.
